Brett

Brett trained as an illustrator over twenty years ago producing drawings and paintings for publishing. He has developed a way of seeing art in the everyday with draughtsmanship at the heart of everything he produces.

Working in both acrylic and watercolour, he paints cityscapes and landscapes. With acrylic he lays down blocks of colour and strong shapes condensing the detail of the view, creating bold, fresh paintings.

With watercolour he uses a limited palette buildings layers to achieve a contrast between light and dark. The pictures  have an overall style and look that catches the viewers eye.
